Welcome to Melissa Hernandez's Fifth Grade Class! My name is Melissa Hernandez and I have been teaching for twelve years. This is my fifth year teaching fifth grade. We have a lot of fun in fifth grade. You will find many different activities going on in our room that works with all learning styles. Not every child learns the same way. Our days are busy and we cover a lot of material throughout the year. A typical day would include; reading, language arts, social studies, science, religion, math, and writing. The other fifth grade teacher, Mrs. Sullivan and I, work hard to prepare our fifth graders for middle school. I look forward to working with my class and helping them become repsonsible, successful students!
